Q&A Reason for covering ICD-10 in Webinars

I am getting ready to take the ICD-9 CPC exam and am currently taking the Blitz and looking at the webinars. I'm just wondering if there are any ICD-10 questions on the CPC exam? If not, I will ignore the ICD-10 info on the webinars since that is not important to me right now.

Thanks.

From the AAPC website:
"When will ICD-10 be incorporated into AAPC certification exams?
ICD-10 will be included on certification exams beginning January 1, 2016."

Anyone taking the exam before this date will have ICD-9-CM on the exam, and not any ICD-10-CM, so you probably can ignore the ICD-10 info on the webinar. That being said, I think you could listen to it without being confused because Alicia and Laureen are very good at teaching and ICD-10 is so cool! :)

Thanks, Ruth. Just wanted to make sure. And yes, Alicia and Laureen do a great job!
